As a wedding photographer, no two days are ever the same. Each couple brings their own unique story, their own vision, and their own energy to the day. And that's exactly what makes this job so rewarding.
The Early Morning
My day typically starts around 6 AM on a wedding day. I arrive at the venue early to scout locations for the best light, check my equipment one final time, and get mentally prepared for the day ahead.
The morning preparations are often some of my favorite moments to capture. There's something magical about the anticipation in the air – the nervous excitement, the tears of joy from mothers, the laughter between friends.
Capturing the Ceremony
The ceremony is where I need to be most attentive and invisible at the same time. I position myself strategically to capture both the wide shots and the intimate moments – the first look, the exchange of vows, the first kiss as a married couple.
The Reception
Once the formalities are over, the reception is where personalities really shine through. The speeches, the first dance, the cake cutting – these are the moments that couples will look back on for years to come.
Why I Love What I Do
At the end of a 12-hour wedding day, I'm exhausted but fulfilled. Knowing that I've captured memories that will last a lifetime makes every early morning and late night worth it.
